Summer is a beautiful season in the Colorado Rockies. Telluride is home to a number of world class festivals during the summer and throughout the year.

The film festival, the blues and brews festival, the mountain film festival, the jazz festival and others bring performers, speakers and attendees from around the globe.

There are many miles of hiking trails surrounding Telluride, ranging from easy strolls to major expeditions into the backcountry. Mountain biking is also very popular in the area, with a similar range of technical and physical challenges. Horseback riding, fly fishing, river rafting, and 4x4 offroad tours are all readily available from a number of outfitters based right in town.
